Assembly Talk on Beyond ChatGPT : Preparing Our Students for an AI Enabled Future
As Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to reshape the way we live,
learn and work, how can we prepare our students not just to use AI, but
to thrive in a future transformed by it?
On 12 August 2026, Peicai Secondary School welcomed Mr. Alan Lee, Co-founder of Astria Consulting Pte Ltd,
to share with our students and staff on “Beyond ChatGPT: How AI Is Changing the Way the World Works.”
Drawing on his experiences in technology, consulting, business transformation and entrepreneurship, Mr. Lee offered students a glimpse into how AI is already changing workplaces and the skills that will become increasingly important in an AI-enabled world.
Beyond learning how to use AI tools, the session invited students to consider what it means to remain distinctly human in the age of AI — to ask better questions, exercise sound judgement, think critically, take responsibility for decisions, and remain curious and adaptable learners.
Through this sharing, we broadened our students’ perspectives on the future of work and encourage them to see AI not simply as a tool that provides answers, but as one that can challenge their thinking and help them learn, create and contribute more meaningfully.
