Overseas Student Exchange Programme 2026
On 23 April 2026, Peicai Secondary School (PCSS) hosted a delegation of
24 students and 4 teachers from Caritas Wu Cheng-Chung College (CWCC),
Hong Kong, as part of our Overseas Student Exchange Programme (OSEP) partnership.
The visit was anchored on a series of interactive and immersive activities
designed to provide CWCC students with authentic insights into school life
at PCSS, while fostering meaningful peer-to-peer engagement.
Throughout the day, CWCC students were hosted by our PCSS students who
had participated in the OSEP (Hong Kong) programme since last year. Drawing
from their own exchange experiences, these student ambassadors played an
active role in facilitating interactions, guiding their peers through the
programme, and encouraging conversations that deepened cultural understanding.
The programme began with a welcome segment during the school’s morning
assembly, where CWCC students were introduced to the PCSS community.

A guided school tour led by our Peicaians provided CWCC students with a closer look at PCSS’s learning environment and facilities, while also offering opportunities for informal interaction and sharing. The highlight of the day was the Sports and Games segment, where students from both schools participated in frisbee and volleyball games.

The exchange continued with an Art Workshop, where CWCC students learnt about Singapore’s culture through the painting of Peranakan tiles, gaining insights into local heritage and design motifs. This hands-on experience encouraged creativity, focus, and a deeper appreciation of diverse cultural perspectives.

Through these varied activities, students from both schools engaged actively, learned from one another, and forged new friendships. The visit concluded with a shared sense of appreciation for the opportunity to connect and learn together. PCSS looks forward to reconnecting with our partners in Hong Kong during our upcoming OSEP (Hong Kong) experience in October 2026!
