Celebration & Recognition Day, Semester 1 2026
In the final week of Term 2 and Semester 1, the school came together to celebrate our bi-annual Celebration & Recognition Day. This meaningful occasion recognised students across various levels for their outstanding academic and non-academic achievements.
Three key academic awards were presented: the All-Round Excellence Awards, the Co-Curricular Activity (CCA) Awards, and the Principal’s List Award. The school was also delighted to welcome back our alumni from the Class of 2025, who were recognised for their achievements in the GCE N-Level and O-Level examinations, as well as for their holistic contributions during their time in Peicai.
A highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of the Outstanding Student of the Year Award 2025. This prestigious award was conferred upon alumnus Pratheepan Poorni, in recognition of her exemplary character, holistic achievements, and significant contributions to the school community.

Additionally, the Principal’s List, the most prestigious academic award in the school, was also awarded to students from all levels. It was introduced in 2022 to both recognise and commend students for their outstanding academic performance in the examinations. Award recipients would have had to demonstrate exemplary conduct to be an awardee of the Principal’s List. In addition to motivating the students, it is the school’s hope that the students on the Principal’s List would also be an inspiration to the student body that nothing is impossible with discipline and hardwork.

Besides students, teaching and non-teaching staff were also recognised and celebrated for their continued contribution and dedication to the MOE and Peicai alike. Recipients who served anywhere form 5 years to 30 years were given the MOE Long Service Award and/or the Peicai Long Service Award.
Celebration and Recognition Day also featured a series of captivating student performances. The Uniformed Groups showcased their precision, discipline and teamwork through a well-coordinated drill performance. This was followed by a delightful violin performance and a duet performance, both of which showcased the performers’ musical talent, dedication and musicality. These performances added vibrancy to the event and provided students with a valuable platform to showcase their skills and passions beyond the classroom.

His message served not only to inspire and encourage students, but also to reinforce the values, aspirations, and goals that every Peicaian strives to uphold. Through his address, students were reminded of the importance of character, resilience, and a commitment to excellence in their journey of growth and learning.
