Champion of the Raffles Institution Under 14s Debating Championships Silver Division 2026

The Debate Society achieved an outstanding result at the Raffles Institution Under-14s Debating Championship 2026, emerging as Champions of the Silver Division. Organised by Raffles Institution, the prestigious tournament brought together talented young debaters from schools across Singapore, providing a platform for participants to engage critically with contemporary issues and develop their public speaking skills.

The championship aimed to cultivate critical thinking, effective communication, collaboration, and adaptability among participants. Through a series of challenging debate rounds, students were required to analyse complex motions, construct persuasive arguments, rebut opposing viewpoints, and respond confidently under pressure.
