Goals & Objectives

1. NCC is guided by 3 main thrusts: Leadership, Fitness and Commitment to Singapore

2. Charting the Course for 21st-Century Leaders we constantly updating our leadership model to meet evolving needs of the CCA to ensure that everyone stays engaged, subscribed and committed to the cause of the unit.

3. Fostering Resilient Leaders through Thrilling Adventures such as Kayaking and Dragon Boating with NCC HQ at Kallang Sea Sports Center

4. At the end of their journey in NCC, we hope to empower cadets with a "Strong" mindset. A NCC Cadet is “Cadet Strong”, when he has a resilient mind, fit body, committed heart and is a self-motivated leader.

CCA Achievements

We are proud to announce that MSG (NCC) Ng Yee Shan (4PN) has been awarded the National Cadet Corps (NCC) Outstanding Cadet Award, one of the highest honours presented to outstanding NCC cadets.

 The NCC Outstanding Cadet Award is a prestigious accolade conferred upon outstanding Senior Cadet Leaders who have demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, inspired their peers, and served as exemplary role models within their units. The award was presented to Yee Shan on 11 July, in the presence of her family, friends and fellow cadets, in recognition of her exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to the Corps.

 As the Assistant Sergeant Major of our school's NCC unit, Yee Shan has consistently exemplified these qualities through her dedication, discipline, and commitment to mentoring and supporting her juniors. Her positive influence and steadfast service have made a lasting contribution to the unit.

 We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Yee Shan on this remarkable achievement. Her accomplishment reflects the values of leadership, resilience and service that our school strives to nurture. We are confident that she will continue to lead with integrity, serve with humility, and achieve even greater success in her future endeavours.

On 22 May 2026, our NCC (Sea) Unit traded their boots for paddles as they took to the waters for the highly anticipated Dragon Boat Regatta. Competing against some of the finest teams from across the nation, our cadets showcased an incredible display of synchronicity, mental fortitude, and sheer physical endurance.

We are immensely proud to announce that our intensive training regimen bore fruit in a major way: both of our school’s registered boats beat their previous personal bests, achieving significant improvements in their race timings (Personal best timing 1:07:71). In a stunning display of power and teamwork, one of our boats successfully fought its way through the intense heats to secure a well-deserved spot in the Semi-Finals. Watching our cadets row in perfect harmony, cutting through the water with determination in every stroke, was an absolute inspiration for everyone cheering from the riverbanks.

While medals may be awarded on the podium, character is forged through perseverance in the water. The resilience demonstrated by our cadets—pressing on despite physical fatigue and challenging their own limits—reflects the true spirit and values of the National Cadet Corps. Their determination, discipline, and unwavering commitment in the face of adversity exemplify the qualities of exemplary cadets and serve as a testament to their strength of character.

Our National Cadet Corps (NCC) Unit has been awarded the prestigious Distinction Award in the annual National Cadet Corps Unit Recognition. As the highest level of recognition, this accolade stands as a testament to the unwavering commitment, discipline, and exemplary teamwork displayed by our cadets and teacher officers throughout the year. It reflects their collective dedication to excellence and the steadfast pursuit of the values upheld by the National Cadet Corps.

NCC (SEA) unit on NCC Day 2025

The Unit Recognition assessment evaluates NCC units across Singapore on a stringent set of criteria, including training attendance, leadership development, participation in national events, and community service initiatives. From grueling precision drills and adventurous outdoor camps to mastering essential survival skills, our cadets have consistently pushed their boundaries and embodied the true spirit of the corps.

This achievement would not have been possible without the leadership of our Cadet Leaders, the commitment of our Junior and Senior Cadets, and the invaluable guidance of our Teacher Officers and Commanding Officer. Their mentorship has transformed our cadets into resilient, responsible, and forward-thinking leaders of tomorrow.

To our NCC Unit: Thank you for flying the school flag so high and making us incredibly proud. Your hard work has truly paid off. We look forward to watching the unit continue to march from strength to strength in the coming year.
