Peicai’s Parent Engagement Session
The school held the Parent Engagement Sessions (PES) on 17 and 24 January 2026, with face-to-face sessions for the Secondary 1, Secondary 2 and Secondary 4 cohorts, and an online session for the Secondary 3 cohort. The purpose of the sessions is to strengthen home–school partnership and support informed academic and post-secondary decision-making.

At the start of PES, parents and students were welcomed by Student Councillors and form teachers at the registration area before proceeding to the Multi-Purpose Hall (MPH). The sessions opened with a welcome address by the Principal, Mr Michael, who shared the school’s vision and encouraged parents to work closely with the school in supporting their children’s learning.

For Secondary 2, the Head of Department (Science), Mr Edwin Kwek, provided an overview of the available subject combinations, outlining the structure of the upper secondary curriculum and key considerations such as students’ strengths, interests and future aspirations. This helped parents and students better understand how subject choices could support their learning.

For Secondary 4, the Education and Career Guidance (ECG) counsellor, Ms Tan Yi Ling, shared insights on post-secondary education pathways, including ITE, Polytechnic and Junior College options. She also highlighted key decision points, entry requirements, and the importance of aligning students’ interests and strengths with potential career pathways.
Following the briefings at the MPH, parents and students returned to their classrooms for class-based interactions with form teachers, covering administrative matters and fostering stronger parent–teacher rapport.
