Department Programmes and Highlights
Our Principles of Accounts (POA) programmes bring learning beyond the classroom. Through competitions and enrichment activities, students apply accounting concepts to real-world situations while developing financial literacy, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Key Competitions:
National Financial Literacy Challenge 2026
This challenge gives Secondary Three POA students opportunities to explore the connections between accounting and personal finance. Students deepen their understanding of financial concepts and learn the importance of making informed financial decisions and planning for the future.
Build-Your-Own-Business (BYOB) Accounting Gameboard Challenge 2026
Organised by Republic Polytechnic and ACRA, this competition challenged students to apply their accounting knowledge and make business decisions through an interactive gameboard experience.
At the competition held on 24 July 2026, our students achieved:
2nd Runner-Up Team — Aldric Tan Lok Kiat (Chen Lejie), Isaac Hoon Mirante (Yun Jianlong) and Jayakumar Dhanush.
2nd Top Performing School — Peicai Secondary School.
