Class Leadership

The Class Leaders of Peicai Secondary School are representatives of each class chosen to serve a pivotal role in the school’s ecosystem of care. They serve two main groups of people – their class and their classmates.

For their class, they support their Form Teachers with the day-to-day to operations of their class in a myriad of tasks like building class spirit.

For their classmates, they are trained in peer supporting strategies and are tasked to continually look out for their classmates. Equipped with cyber-wellness advocacy and peer mediating competencies, the Class Leaders are front-liners in any peer-to-peer issues in the class. And in doing so, they actively shape the dynamics of the school towards a positive and caring climate.

For their classmates, they are trained in peer supporting strategies and are tasked to continually look out for their classmates. Equipped with cyber-wellness advocacy and peer mediating competencies, the Class Leaders are front-liners in any peer-to-peer issues in the class. And in doing so, they actively shape the dynamics of the school towards a positive and caring climate.

The class leaders undergo a series of trainings and mentoring, which is aligned to Kouzes and Posner’s Student Leadership Challenge model, to equip them with the skills and competencies to lead and support their classmates.

CCA Leadership

The CCAs are an important community of care in the school and the CCA Leaders of Peicai Secondary School perpetuate this by looking out for their CCA peers and juniors. They actively build up the camaraderie within the CCA to enhance the climate of care that the school emphasises.

Chosen by their CCA teachers because they are the expert craftsmen of their respective CCAs, the CCA Leaders of Peicai Secondary School mentor and guide junior members of their CCAs in the competencies required by their CCA. They are tasked to empower their CCA mates through varied responsibilities ranging from planning CCA activities to co-teaching CCA-related content.
