On 3 September 2026, our school community came together to celebrate Teachers’ Day 2026 under the theme “Night at the Museum - Where Legends Come Alive”. Students of Peicai Secondary School transformed their Multi-Purpose Hall into a living, breathing museum, one where the exhibits were not ancient artefacts or priceless paintings, but something far more valuable: the teachers who shape lives every single day.

A time of celebration with the living legends, with a joyous atmosphere, heartfelt gifts and cards from the students, and the Parent Support Group! This day was filled with fun, laughter and gratitude to our teachers who will leave their legacy behind as legendary educators, inspiring the lives around them.
The celebration kicked off with a grand Parade of the Living Legends, where our teachers walked in as departments. Each was welcomed with thunderous applause and heartfelt thanks for their role in each student’s life. School Leaders, Mr Michael, Mr Shue, and Ms Chung were escorted in by the PE Department roleplaying as their security team, receiving a rousing reception befitting the museum's most distinguished directors.

The theme of legends was brought to life in a memorable segment where students reflected on what truly makes someone legendary. The museum was not filled with priceless paintings or ancient relics, instead, it was filled with something far more valuable: people who inspire, guide and shape lives every single day,
The performances that followed were nothing short of spectacular. Starting off strong, the Jollyrollies student band took to the stage with a soulful rendition of One Call Away by Charlie Puth that captured the gratitude every student felt. Their song was a way of showing appreciation to teachers for being a guiding hand in times of need, and heartfelt gratitude for always being one call away. The energy was then cranked up several notches by the student dance group Class in Motion, who dedicated their high-energy performance of Want you back by NYSNC* as the ultimate 'thank you' to teachers who make learning an adventure, and as a tribute to their hard work, endless support, and the unforgettable impact they have on every single student.

Students put on their detective hats for two exciting games, “Guess the Exhibit” and “Who's the Curator?”. Teachers had shared fun facts about themselves, each transformed into a museum exhibit, and students had to figure out which teacher each exhibit belonged to. The games drew laughter, cheers, and more than a few surprised gasps as hidden talents were revealed.

The celebration drew to a close with the Staff Awards, celebrating and recognising the teachers who have made the most impact on students.

As the curtains fell on the Peicai Museum, one thing was abundantly clear: legends do not only live in history books or sports arenas. They walk these school corridors every day, and on that Teachers' Day, they were celebrated exactly as they deserve to be.
Happy Teachers' Day to all our living legends!
