We are delighted to announce that our school's NCC (Sea) Unit has achieved the Distinction Award in the Unit Recognition (UR) assessment for 2024. This prestigious accolade reflects the outstanding commitment and achievements of our cadets and teacher officers throughout the year.

Our unit demonstrated excellence across various assessment criteria, including unit administration, training management, and cadet leadership development. The cadets showed remarkable proficiency in seamanship, navigation, and maritime knowledge whilst maintaining high standards in foot drills and physical training.

Key achievements this year included:

1. Captain's Ball (Girls) clinching 2nd Runner Up position in the inter-unit competition

2. Qualifying as finalists in the 15th Air/Sea District Preliminaries for Free Style Drill Competition

3. Securing 5th place nationally in the challenging 12 km Canoe Marathon

4. Participated in the International Student Exchange Programme - India

5. Conquered Mt Ophir: Ex Puncak

The unit's dedication to developing both technical skills and character has been particularly noteworthy. Our cadets have consistently displayed the core values of loyalty, leadership, and commitment to excellence.
