9th National Text Recital Competition 2026

We are proud to share that two of our students, Chiang Shutong 2CN and Yao Junhao 2RE, were awarded Bronze Awards at the 9th National Text Recital Competition 2026.

A total of six students from Peicai Secondary School participated in the competition, taking part in both the individual and team categories. The competition provided a meaningful platform for them to develop their Chinese language skills, confidence and ability to express themselves through text recitation.

Under the guidance of their teachers, the students worked on their pronunciation, articulation, intonation and expression in preparation for the competition. Through regular practice and feedback, they gained a deeper understanding of the texts and learnt to present with greater confidence and expression.

The experience also encouraged the students to step out of their comfort zones and challenge themselves in a competitive setting. Their dedication and willingness to learn throughout the preparation process were commendable. Zheng Shutong and Yao Junhao were recognised with Bronze Awards for their efforts, while all six participants gained valuable experience from representing the school.

The students received their awards and participation certificates during a prize presentation ceremony on 13 October 2026. We would also like to acknowledge the guidance and support of our teachers, who worked closely with the students throughout their preparation.
