Volleyball Girls C Division NSG League 3 Runners Up 2025
This year, our C Division Volleyball Girls Team achieved a commendable milestone by qualifying for the League 3 Finals at the National School Games (NSG). They have broken a nearly 30 year wait for a medal ever since we were featured in the North Finals back in 1995.
The National School Games (NSG) is the largest annual inter-school competition in Singapore, organised by schools for schools. It is a highly anticipated event in the sporting calendar, offering more than 400 championship titles to over 60,000 student athletes across primary schools, secondary schools, junior colleges, and centralised institutions. The NSG not only provides opportunities for healthy competition, but also cultivates values such as resilience, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Throughout the NSG competitions, the girls displayed unwavering grit and determination, training hard and giving their very best in every match. In the Finals, they put up an inspiring fight against Queenstown Secondary, playing with heart and perseverance, before finishing as League 3 Runners-up.
This journey in preparing for the NSG reflects the spirit of commitment and teamwork, and the school is proud of the girls’ accomplishment. Thank you to the school leaders, teachers-in-charge, and the coaches for their guidance and steadfast support throughout the season, and to the girls for proudly flying our school flag high.

Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) Arts Presentation – Concert Band Distinction Award
We are proud to share that our school’s Concert Band has achieved a Distinction in the recent Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) Arts Presentation – marking a historic milestone as the first time in 20 years the band has reached this level of excellence.
Under the baton of our dedicated conductor – Mr Erik Tan, the band delivered a powerful and moving performance of Overture No. 1 by Kelly Tang and The Witch and The Saint by Steven Reineke. Both works demanded a high level of technical precision, musical sensitivity and ensemble coordination, all of which were delivered with commendable professionalism and artistry by our students.
This outstanding achievement is the result of months of unwavering commitment, especially during the band intensive sessions. Our students pushed through long rehearsals, overcame personal and collective challenges, and grew not only as musicians but as a united ensemble. Their perseverance, teamwork and passion for music have truly paid off.
We celebrate this well-deserved distinction and applaud every member of the band for their hard work and dedication. This momentous success is a testament to what can be achieved through resilience and hard work, and it will undoubtedly inspire future generations of band members to dream big.

NCC (Sea) Unit Achievement: Distinction Award 2024
We are delighted to announce that our school's NCC (Sea) Unit has achieved the Distinction Award in the Unit Recognition (UR) assessment for 2024. This prestigious accolade reflects the outstanding commitment and achievements of our cadets and teacher officers throughout the year.
Our unit demonstrated excellence across various assessment criteria, including unit administration, training management, and cadet leadership development. The cadets showed remarkable proficiency in seamanship, navigation, and maritime knowledge whilst maintaining high standards in foot drills and physical training.
Key achievements this year included:
Captain's Ball (Girls) clinching 2nd Runner Up position in the inter-unit competition
Qualifying as finalists in the 15th Air/Sea District Preliminaries for Free Style Drill Competition
Securing 5th place nationally in the challenging 12 km Canoe Marathon
Participated in the International Student Exchange Programme - India

The unit's dedication to developing both technical skills and character has been particularly noteworthy. Our cadets have consistently displayed the core values of loyalty, leadership, and commitment to excellence.
This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our school leaders, dedicated teacher officers, and alumni volunteers. We also extend our gratitude to parents for their continued support of their children's co-curricular activities.
Moving forward, our unit remains committed to nurturing future-ready leaders with a strong maritime interest and robust character.

Girl Guides World Thinking Day Commemoration
Peicai Girl Guides
On February 22nd, schools across the world celebrate World Thinking Day, a special occasion when Girl Guides and Brownies come together to honour international friendship and raise awareness on issues affecting girls and young women.
The Theme for World Thinking Day this year is Our Story. Reflecting on the symbolism and values of our Movement, “Our Story” explores what it has meant to be a Girl Guide over the years. This includes exploring how Girl Guides can understand the past in the world today, while supporting girls around the world to feel confident, care about their world and develop the skills needed to make a difference.
This year, Brownies and Girl Guides gathered at the Singapore Expo to celebrate World Thinking Day (WTD). This special occasion celebrates our global movement, strengthens international friendships, and shares the inspiring stories of our Guiding community. We were also honoured to have Ms. Candela Gonzalez, Chair of the World Board, WAGGGS, as our Guest of Honour at the special occasion.
In our school, the Girl Guides marked World Thinking Day during the morning assembly by watching an inspiring video message from Dr. Seetha Subbiah, the President of Girl Guides Singapore. This observance was a powerful reminder for everyone to reflect on their role in creating a more inclusive and just world for girls and young women.

Singapore Science and Engineering Fair (SSEF)
5 Peicaians took part in the Singapore Science and Engineering Fair (SSEF) that was held on 11-12 March at Singapore Expo. Through this competition, our Peicaians have gained valuable skills in critical thinking, problem solving, and scientific research. Their studies on seed priming and food waste as natural hair dye aimed to promote innovation in both agriculture and personal care, advancing scientific knowledge for a more productive and sustainable future.
Congratulations to our Peicaians Xander (4C4), Zhi Yuan (4C4), Zenith (4C1), Fany (4C4), Lhorein (4C3) for making it into the finals for the 25th SSEF!

On 10th October 2024, our students participated in the Singapore Math Challenge (SMC).SMC is written by top Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) teachers and is offered to every country in the world. Singapore Math is taught in over 70 countries globally and SMC will be the standard to measure students and inform parents and teachers with valuable formative and summative assessment data for them to improve teaching and learning.

We are proud to announce that our students have demonstrated outstanding mathematical abilities and achieved remarkable results in this competition. Their hard work and perseverance have been recognised with the following accolades:
