Students who are Singapore Citizens must sing the National Anthem and take the Pledge. Students will take the Pledge with the right fist placed over the heart.
 
1. Attendance is compulsory for all school activities. Punctuality is to be observed at all times.
2. Absence from school must be supported by a medical certificate from a government doctor or private practitioner. A letter of explanation from the student’s parent or guardian will be accepted only if it is also accompanied by a telephone call made by the parent or guardian to the school.
3. Students who want to leave the school during school hours must record their departure in a book (available from the general office) and have the entry counter-signed by their form teacher granting permission or in his or her absence, a HOD, the Vice-Principal or the Principal.
 
1. Students are to wear the prescribed school uniform purchased from the authorised uniform supplier. No modification to the uniform is allowed.
2. Students must wear the school uniform at all school functions. The school PE T-shirt may replace the shirt/blouse unless otherwise stated.
3. Shirts/Blouses must be smartly worn at all times, ie. properly buttoned.
4. School PE attire must be worn for all physical education activities and students may wear the attire on the day when they have PE lesson.
5. Sports/ Canvas shoes and plain white socks must be worn on all school days.
6. Jewellery must not be worn in school. Only girls may wear a pair of small ear rings/studs/sticks.
> All students must be neatly and smartly attired.
> All male students must maintain a clean-shaven face.
HAIR
Students are not allowed to tint or dye their hair.
For Boys
> Hair must not touch the eyebrows.
> Hair must not touch the ears.
> Hair must not touch the collar and must have a sloped or tapered cut.
 
For Girls
> Hair must not touch the eyebrows.
> Hair must not fall over the sides and cover the face partially.
> Long hair (touching or below the shoulders) must be tied up neatly or plaited. Only black clips, ribbons or hair bands may be used.
 
NAILS
Students must keep their fingernails short at all times.
 
COSMETICS
> Students are not allowed to apply cosmetics, such as face powder, eyeliner, eye shadow and nail polish.
> Students are not allowed to apply henna.
 
TATTOOS
There should be no tattoos on any part of a student's body.
 
Except calculators and watches, electronic items like MP3 players and electronic games are not allowed in school. When found, they will be retained by the school for three working days.
 
1. Students are responsible for the cleanliness of their own classrooms.
2. Students must not leave books in the classroom or its cupboards/drawers.
3. Students must not consume food or drinks in the classrooms.
4. Students leaving the classroom during a lesson must have a pass.
5. Students who are going to another room during a change of period must do so promptly and in an orderly manner.
6. Students must not stay in the classroom during recess.
 
Students must:
1. Queue for their food and can only buy food for themselves.
2. Not enter the canteen vendors' kitchen area at any times.
3. Keep the canteen clean.
4. Return used crockery, cutlery and bottles to the respective receptacles provided.
 
1. Students must uphold the good name of the school at all times.
2. Competitors/players in games should always practise fair play.
 
Male students who commit the following offences will face corporal punishment:
1. Stealing   7. Vandalism
2. Fighting 8. Gambling
3. Using Vulgar Language 9. Having tattoos
4. Defiance against Teachers or Student Councillors. 10. Verbally threatening others of bodily harm
5. Smoking/ possession of cigarettes or tobacco products. 11. Possession of pornographic materials
6. Bullying (physical, verbal or cyber bullying) 12. Engaging / Abetting in gang activities
